I moved to England from Northern Ireland in 2003 to complete a BA Hons in Early Childhood Studies at Winchester University, and then my PGCE in primary teaching at Reading. I taught in primary and nursery schools in Reading, mostly part-time, while I enjoyed being a mum to my 3 wonderful children. The family moved to Kent in 2019 where I taught in primary before moving into teaching at a SEN school.

I completed my level 5 in specialist teaching in 2022 and began tutoring primary age children in Medway. I have just completed the level 7 in assessing dyslexia, enabling me to gain my PGCert in SEND and Inclusion: Dyslexia Specialist Assessment.

I am very excited to join the team at Ashford and look forward to supporting lots more students.
